Abstract：

History and Theory is a famous foreign journal of historical Theory. In recent years, its academic influence has been increasingly enhanced. Through the use of information visualization software Citespace, the paper analyzes the publication of the journal in the past ten years(2008-2018), which can visually show theresearch progress, development trend, frontier and hotspot analysis of foreign historical theories in recent years, thus contributing to evaluation and reference of the progress of foreign historical theory.
